The brand began more than two decades ago with an interest in the rug as an integral part of architecture and space. Over time, this perspective evolved: today Art de Vivre approaches the rug as an autonomous object with its own character, authorship and cultural context.
Collections emerge from architecture and art, natural processes, historical narratives and the personal research of their creators. These ideas take material form through colour, relief, proportion and handwork.

A collection begins with a concept and gradually takes shape through drawing, colour, material, technique and texture. Wool, silk, knot density and pile height become expressive tools in the same way as line and composition.
The final object emerges through a dialogue between designer, material and maker. Handcraft is therefore not simply a method of production, but part of the author's language.
